Singapore-based health technology company MiyaHealth has received an undisclosed sum of investment from HealthXCapital, Central Capital Ventura, and SEEDS Capital.
This comes on top of the $4.8 million it raised in a pre-Series A round earlier this year.
Founded in 2019, the startup offers two technology platforms: MiyaPatient, a navigation platform that helps patients manage their chronic illness, and MiyaPayor, which combines AI-powered claims processing and predictive analytics. It is coming up with a third offering, MiyaProvider, which is intended to enhance patients’ experience in hospitals and clinics.
Steve Buscemi sure got the attention of trick-or-treaters in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York on Sunday.
For Halloween this year, the acclaimed actor recreated his iconic 30 Rock character – a private investigator trying to pass off as a teenager – who delivered the meme-worthy line: ‘How do you do, fellow kids?’
Wearing that very same outfit, which included a backward red baseball cap, red hoodie, and ‘music band’ t-shirt, Buscemi handed out candy and posed for photos outside his Brooklyn home throughout the day, all while holding on to his character’s skateboard.
“I’ve tried to make that pretty clear. I mean, the band’s been in the studio for the past however long, we’ve still been making music in the meantime,” Hemmings says.
“But the same way I spoke to the boys in the band about it – like, I was very open with them about the reasons why I wanted to do this: because it’s a creative outlet, because it’s a challenge I set myself to do something on my own, and because it’s something I need to do just to understand myself – hopefully I’ve done the same with the band’s fans.
Though the twosome is best known for the short time of their lives they spent together, they did have lives before that. As Biography reports, Bonnie Parker was not a criminal before she met Clyde Barrow and fell in love with him. Barrow, however, already had a significant criminal record by the time the two met, and went back to prison shortly after that (also according to Biography). While the duo lived very different lifestyles prior to meeting, during their four years together they did develop some similarities.
Transgender actor Elliot Page has revealed that he knew he ‘wanted to be a boy’ when he was just nine years old – but says he had to ‘compromise’ his true gender identity in order to pursue a career as a child actor.
The 34-year-old is now speaking out about his decades-long struggle with his gender in a new interview with TIME – his first since he made the decision to publicly come out as transgender and non-binary in December – admitting that he felt that he had to hide his gender in order to achieve success in Hollywood.
