Shortly after Prince William and Kate Middleton split in 2006, the Queen reportedly gave the future King of England some love advice that ultimately stopped him from walking away completely.
Before they married in 2011, Prince William and Kate Middleton temporarily called it quits on their whirlwind romance.
As Kate ran amok hitting the nightlife with friends and sister Pippa (as any heartbroken lass would do after a split), William was reportedly having conversations with members of the royal family about his next steps. And it was during this time when the Queen reportedly offered some very helpful relationship advice to the future King of England about his future bride.

The Queen’s relationship advice to Prince William
The monarch must have seen potential in William’s girlfriend at the time because she offered up some words of wisdom that ultimately stopped him from walking away completely.
According to royal expert and author, Katie Nicholl, the Queen didn’t stumble when telling William that she was disappointed to hear about his break-up with Kate back in 2006.
She reportedly advised him “not to hurry into” making any permanent decisions about his relationship with Kate and to rather think it through carefully to ensure the split was something he definitely wanted.
Of course, we know that advice must have stuck because the following year, they rekindled their romance and got engaged three years later.

Inside Kate and William’s unusual sleeping arrangements
William and Kate recently caused a stir after the floorplans for Kate and William’s London palace revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a rather unusual sleeping arrangement compared to ost royal families.
At Apartment 1A in Kensington Palace, instead of having the bedrooms upstairs and living spaces downstairs, the Cambridges sleep on the group floor, and the staff is upstairs.
The floor plans revealed that there are two master bedrooms on the main floor, and upper floors have more bedrooms, which seem mostly dedicated to staff members.
The staff includes the royal nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, who works full time looking after Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
