Taco Bell has been making many unpredictable moves lately with menu innovations and the hyped re-return of the Mexican Pizza (which was a bit of a fiasco). But there is one thing the Tex-Mex chain heard loud and clear–customers want taco-themed pizzas. And it’s here to deliver.

While it’s not exactly a slice of pie, the chain just launched a Cheesy Chipotle Chicken Flatbread in test locations across Charlotte, N.C., according to Thrillist. The flatbread resembles pizza topped with baked cheese, marinated chicken, a Creamy Chipotle sauce, tortilla strips, and onions. And fans of spice can toss on jalapeños for an extra kick of heat.

The flatbread is selling for $3.99 and can be purchased as part of a meal alongside a Crunchy Taco and a large fountain drink for $6.99.

While the item is currently only available in Charlotte, it could make a national debut if it proves to be in demand.

Taco Bell has been on a roll when it comes to creative ideas. The chain teamed up with famed dessert company Milk Bar to release an adorable Strawberry Bell Truffle and surprised many fans with its large Cheez-It creations, which come in Tostada and Crunchwrap forms. And while the Cheez-It mashups were also tester items that debuted in Irving, Calif., they performed so well that they sold out at these locations.

And for those still waiting to get their hands on a Mexican Pizza after missing the window during the item’s grand return in May (when it came back only to leave again almost as quickly as it re-appeared) you’re in luck. The Mexican Pizza is now officially slated for a definite, permanent comeback on September 15.
