“It is with a heavy heart that we say that Saaphyri has passed away. She was found today in her home responsive,” the statement read. “Please send your prayers.”

Besides Saaphyri being found “unresponsive” no other details about her passing have been revealed.

Saaphyri, who was born Chijuan Castro, rose to fame after competing on season two of Flavor of Love on VH1 back in 2006. She then returned for Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School in 2007, winning the $50,000 grand prize and the title of “Charm School Queen.”

After appearing on Flavor of Love, Saaphyri launched her unisex lip balm called Saaphyri’s Lip Chap, which stemmed from her offering fellow contestant H-Town “lip chap” after their fight.

Our thoughts are with Saaphyri‘s loved ones during this difficult time.

We have sadly lost all of these stars in 2021.
