The 44-year-old designer had just made up with Porsha Williams, 39, after they’d been separated for weeks thanks to Marlo’s new friendship with Kenya Moore, 50.

But when Marlo suspected that Porsha had been lying to her about a holiday hook-up, she grew angry, feeling like she didn’t know who to trust.

All the drama went down on a cast trip to New Orleans while the group was taking cooking lessons from music legend Big Freedia, 43.

To their delight, Freedia taught them how to make Booty Poppin’ Potatoes and strong cocktails, while also bouncing with them in the kitchen.

After they cooked, Marlo recounted her recent conversation with Porsha, in which her pal swore she’d never sexed up the stripper Bolo on the cast’s South Carolina trip.

Kenya demurred, offering, ‘I’m not going to be made a villain ‘cause I spoke the truth.’

Marlo was upset because she felt Porsha lied to her, when she should have told her what happened with the stripper before anyone else.

Over dinner, the cast friend couldn’t keep it to herself any longer and started talking.

She asked Big Freedia, who knew nothing about their drama, for advice.

‘You’re friends with someone who you love, you admire, you’ve been through a lot with in your life,’ Marlo began, referring to Porsha. ‘Someone whom you didn’t like, you didn’t like her name being mentioned for years. She comes and she tells you something about that friend. And you go and you ask that friend, “Is it true?” And that friend says it’s not true. How do you run that when you love where you’re at now with the person that you’ve hated forever? What do you do?’

‘Honestly, I don’t like confrontation so I just walk away from it all,’ said Big Freedia.

‘I just leave it alone…’ Marlo considered. ‘And they both leave me out of it and treat me the way they’ve always treated me. ‘Cause it’s like I’m really stuck there.’

She and Porsha had hashed out their differences not long before Marlo revisited the issue.

In a confessional, Porsha said, ‘I thought we were done! What are you trying to get at?’

Marlo went on, ‘The main thing I’m just worried about I don’t want to lose either one of the friends. I love the friendship I have with both. The other one is new, but it feels good compared to where we were because we were so bitter with one another. She had me angry—I was screaming.’

‘Do you think it’s a real friend, honestly, if you couldn’t stand this person for such a long time and y’all just becoming friends?’ Big Freedia asked.

‘What I’m gonna tell you… it’s so calculated how this person came around right when they were trying to come in and hurt me,’ Marlo replied.

‘Wait a minute, are you talking about me?’ Porsha asked. ‘We just had this conversation.’

‘I wasn’t going to throw you under the bus,’ Marlo countered. ‘There’s seven women here.’

Kandi Burruss, 44, pointed out that the ‘whole Kenya-Porsha mess’ did not need to involve Marlo.

Porsha and Kenya said they didn’t have anything else to say about the stripper situation.

‘Both of you motherf***ers talk to me about each other when I wasn’t there,’ Marlo cried. ‘Address each other and stop f***ing running around these flowers!’

She got angry and left, saying, ‘Goodnight, with y’all fake a**es!’ but she went the wrong way.

Returning through the room, Marlo called, ‘A b**** ain’t gonna put a lie on me and I won’t straighten her motherf***ing a**.’

To the cameras, Kandi said, ‘Why are you trying to embarrass us in front of Big Freedia?’

Kenya told the table that Marlo was upset because she thought she and Porsha were friends but the woman had been trying to ‘curse her out’ at the table.

‘Keep my name out of your mouth,’ Porsha warned Kenya.

Kandi grew annoyed and wondered why the cast’s previous trip was still being discussed.

Kenya asked Porsha, ‘Do you have anything else to say? Why are you lying about f***ing Bolo?’

‘Oh I f***ed Bolo,’ Porsha said. ‘I f***ed the man who made the pig. I f***ed everybody at the bachelorette party. Oh it was so good!’

‘I heard it,’ Kenya returned. ‘You got that thing busted wide open.’

Porsha kept going until the idea was exhausted and then said to Kenya, ‘Now what b****?’

Kenya said she wasn’t hurt because she didn’t respect Porsha, but Porsha knew her calm front was ‘sending her up a cliff.’

Kandi later called Marlo to her room to find out what was going on with her.

‘One of them is lying,’ Marlo said of Kenya and Porsha. ‘I don’t want to be friends with a liar.’

She asked Kandi who was telling the truth, because Kandi had a bedroom next to Porsha’s at the bachelorette party.

Kandi would only say diplomatically that she’d seen Porsha lie before.

The next day, Porsha left without telling everyone, followed by Kandi who had to leave to protect a film role.

When Kenya confronted Marlo, she reminded her that she had called all of them ‘out on our names’ the night before.

Marlo was then shown in flashback outside the cooking class taking a photo and urging the ‘fakers’ to get closer to one another.

‘That wasn’t me, that was the Patron,’ Marlo said.

Kenya finally declared that she didn’t care whether Porsha hooked up with Bolo or not, realizing that it was pulling everyone down.

Just then a big storm crashed outside and the power went off in their hotel.

‘At least in Isle of Palms, the girls had a good time,’ Kenya cooed in a confessional. ‘New Orleans, not so much.’

When the cast got back to Atlanta, they watched the presidential election results roll in and found out that Joe Biden would be president.

‘Georgia come through!’ said Cynthia Bailey, 54, as Porsha danced with her excitedly and cheered to ‘humanity’ as they drank champagne.

The two of them did a video about supporting Black-owned businesses.

Afterward, they spoke about how embarrassing it was for the group to have aired its own business in front of Big Freedia, who urged them to ‘keep it cute and classy.’

‘Whatever differences y’all have y’all try to work it out amongst each other,’ she’d added.

Porsha said she didn’t think she and Marlo could get past things, claiming ‘she ain’t my type of b****.’

Cynthia opined that Marlo was in a lot of pain, and Porsha said she was tired of getting hurt by hurt women.

At the end of the show, the cast went to a tasting for Blaze Steak & Seafood, Kandi’s restaurant with her husband Todd Tucker.

Business had been slowed by the coronavirus pandemic, but for the evening ‘Blaze was blazing,’ Cynthia said.

When Marlo arrived, she pretended nothing was wrong and said hello to Porsha right away.

‘You want to act as if we did not have this blow-up in New Orleans, and you didn’t call me a Samuel Jackson motherf***er?’ Porsha said in a confessional. ‘And now you’re like, “Hi! How the he** are you?” No, girl, get out of my face!’

The episode ended ‘to be continued’ next week.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta returns next week on Bravo.
