Nicolas Cage hit the red carpet with his new wife of nine months, Riko Shibata, at the 2021 GQ Men of the Year Party.
The 57-year-old actor posed on the red carpet with his 26-year-old wife at the event, held at the West Hollywood EDITION on Thursday evening.
Cage and Shibata tied the knot this past February at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, after meeting in her native Japan over a year earlier.

Cage stepped out in a classic black suit with a black jacket, white dress shirt and black tie.
He also donned a dark grey fedora while sporting a scruffy beard on the red carpet with his wife.
The actor completed his look with matching black pants and black shoes for the West Hollywood outing.

His wife Shibata was sporting a traditional Japanese kimono with a pink floral design for the outing.
She was also seen holding a gold purse while holding hands with her husband on the red carpet.
She completed her look with gold sandals, with her jet black hair tied up into a bun.

Shibata is Cage’s fifth wife, following Patricia Arquette from 1995 to 2001, Lisa Marie Presley from 2002 to 2004, Alice Kim from 2004 to 2016 and Erica Koike, who he was married to for four days in March 2019 before he filed for an annulment.
Cage and Shibata first met in Japan in 2020 through mutual friends, while he was filming Sion Sono’s film Prisoners of Ghostland.
Shibata would ultimately make her acting debut in that film as one of four ‘Mannequin Women.’

What the superfan doesn’t know is Cage is actually an FBI informant trying to take down the fan, who is actually a drug kingpin.
