Since 2015, the Fulton County District Attorney’s office has accused members of the YSL gang of causing “havoc” in Atlanta by engaging in violent crime on multiple occasions.
The indictment names 28 people, including Lil Duke, and details a sequence of events dating back to 2015, involving many killings, attempted murders, and other crimes. Young Thug, real name Jeffery Lamar Williams, and Gunna, real name Sergio Giavanni Kitchens, are two of the claimed “Young Slime Life” members.
The indictment recounts Donavon Thomas Jr.’s murder in 2015, as well as the attempted murder of rival rapper YFN Lucci by suspected YSL gang members who were incarcerated with him.
Murder, armed robbery, aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon, possession of a firearm, violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, theft, and participation in street gang activity are among the 56 accusations.
The conspiracy complaint arises from events that allegedly occurred between January 24, 2013, and May 8, 2022.
