All lanes of Interstate 75 near High Springs reopened late Thursday afternoon after they were shut down for about four hours due to what troopers described as a “shooting incident.”
The lane closures were first reported about 12:50 p.m.
Shortly after 4:40 p.m., troopers announced that all southbound lanes of I-75 had reopened. About 15 minutes later, FHP said the northbound lanes were also back open.
Troopers said the suspect in the incident was captured.
