Australian Survivor star David Genat has undergone an extreme makeover.
On Saturday, the male model took to Instagram to announce that he had cut off his famous long blonde hair.
Sharing a smouldering selfie to Instagram, the 39-year-old captioned it: ‘Just a little off the sides’.

The new look was praised by many of David’s fellow Survivor stars, including Lee Carseldine, Jarrad Seng, and Nick Iadanza.
‘Ohhh I see a bit of Ricky Martin,’ commented Lydia Lassila.
Meanwhile, TV presenter Tom Williams compared David to Hollywood actor Viggo Mortensen.

David started modelling in 2002, and has walked runways and appeared in campaigns for top labels such as Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren.
He was was the Sole Survivor of Australian Survivor: All Stars, which aired in 2020, and previously competed on Australian Survivor: Champions v Contenders in 2019.
David’s most recent television appearance was on Celebrity Apprentice.

He didn’t make it to the end, however, with Lord Alan Sugar firing him during a tense boardroom meeting following a viral video challenge.
With his quick firing, David admitted to being ‘super salty’ as he left the building.
‘This is not the result I wanted obviously. I’m a bit psycho when it comes to winning. I’m very salty. I’m super, super salty,’ he said.
